Zaya is back 🦋 + new events!

Events, new team members + so much more!

TL;DR (Too Long Didn't Read): We have some major updates in the pipeline! Zaya is evolving and to kick things off we are hosting an event this Friday 7pm Berlin, 10am LA on indigenous wisdom and how food can help us reimagine an abundant future for our health and that of our planet. Learn more below ⬇️

Quick Update ✌️

Nadeya here - and I must say, I am SO excited to be back after taking a few months off to reset. After going through an incredible 3-month mentorship program with Stealth Mode at Factory Berlin, I realized I needed a moment to pause and reflect on the impact Zaya is creating in this world.

How Zaya has evolved 🌿

After hosting several events on the medicinal properties of plants, herbs, fungi, and psychedelic plant medicines last year, I began to witness the power of nature for our health and wellbeing.

After working with these medicines for years, it wasn't until recently that I realized the beautiful symbiotic relationship we share with the earth.

"Take care of the earth, and the earth will take care of you".

The magical properties of our natural world provide us opportunities to transform, heal and grow. But with global temperatures increasing, biodiversity is being threatened and many of our plant species are suffering from the effects of environmental dangers. The loss of ecosystems is caused by deforestation, climate change, pollution and so much more.

At Zaya, we want to be part of an initiative to protect the environment by raising awareness of the value of these medicinal plant properties and deepening our relationship with the earth.

In the last few months, we have looked into finding ways to work on our mission in the most impactful way. We were able to find a new organizational structure that is in alignment with our mission and values. We are super excited to start introducing you to the new ecosystem that we are building, over the next few weeks. Nadeya started her career in finance and business development, consulting for entrepreneurs & NGOs globally. Nadeya grew passionate about the mind-body-spirit connection after her father was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. In 2017, Nadeya committed to a life-long journey to explore healing the mind, body and spirit through plants, mindfulness and psychedelic medicines. After traveling and studying Eastern Medicine practices in India, Nepal and the U.S., Nadeya began her research in the field. After having over 100+ interviews with Integrative Medicine Doctors in the U.S. to Tibetan "Bön" Shamans in the Himalayas, it was in 2020 when Nadeya gave birth to the idea of Zaya.
